There are so many layers to being Miss America Fit—it's not just physical, but emotional, mental, and spiritual too. Physically, it means caring for your body through movement, rest, and most importantly, what you put on your plate. Heart health starts with daily choices, and those choices are only possible when you have access to nourishing, affordable food.

That’s where food security becomes part of the conversation. Communities without consistent access to healthy meals face a higher risk of heart disease and other preventable illnesses. As the founder of Everybody Eats, I’m passionate about making sure every South Carolinian—regardless of zip code—has the opportunity to fuel their body well and live a heart-healthy life.

If you'd like to support this mission, join me in donating to the American Heart Association and Miss America’s Go Red for Women collaboration here. Your gift helps fund heart research and educational scholarships, making a real impact in the lives of women across the country.
